Travel 

To make your journey as smooth as possible, we've put together some travel information for both the ceremony and the reception. 

Ceremony

By Car:

  • From London: Take the M3 or M4, then follow signs for the A30. Follow the A30 until you reach Ashford. The Church can be found on Fordbridge Road, just off Ashford High Street. 

  • From Heathrow Airport: Take the M25 (southbound) to Junction 13, then follow signs for the A30. Continue on the A30 towards Ashford. The Church can be found on Fordbridge Road, just off Ashford High Street. 

  • Parking: There is free on-street parking available along Clarendon Road, and Fordbridge Road, and nearby roads including Princes Road and Albert Road. Parking is also available along Ashford High Street. Please note, parking may be limited, so it’s advisable to arrive early. 

By Public Transport:

  • Train: Ashford Railway Station is a 10-minute walk from the church. It has regular services from London Waterloo (about 40 minutes) and from Staines (about 10 minutes). 

  • Bus: Several bus routes serve the Ashford area, including the 117, 216 and 290, which have stops close to the church.

By Car:

  • From Ashford: Head west on the A30 and take the M4. Take the exit towards Holyport Interchange and stay on A404 (M). Follow signs to Henley-on-Thames (about a 40-minute drive). 

Parking:

There is free parking available in the Market Place and surrounding streets in Henley. In addition, there are several car parks within walking distance (e.g., Greys Road Car Park and Henley Station Car Park). 

  • Greys Road Car Park (next to the Town Hall) 

short stay max 3 hours from 8am-6pm but free after 6pm 

  • Kings Road Car Park (a 3-minute walk from the Town Hall)  

short stay max 3 hours from 8am-6pm but free after 6pm 

  • Southfields Car Park (a 5-minute walk from the Town Hall) 

Long stay car park, free after 6pm 

Free on-street parking: Church Street, Greys Hill, Deanfield Road (8 min walk) 

By Public Transport:

  • Train: Henley-on-Thames Railway Station is about a 10-minute walk from the Town Hall. It’s accessible from London Paddington, with a change at Twyford. 

  • Bus: The 800 and 850 bus routes connect Henley with nearby towns and villages, including from Reading and Maidenhead. 

Important: A shuttle can be provided from the Church to reception, however transport will not be provided at the end of the night so please make arrangements for travel at the end of the night! We would recommend pre-booking taxis with the following:
